Hi, I am seen lots of times SBM vs Outlook sync breaks out of sudden, which makes the events in outlook not synced to SBM to block the availability and the bookings are not synced to outlook.

Understand briefly that it could be some from SBM, but also can be something with our email server.

Can you advise how are you integrating with MS to receive events and send events to outlook calendar so I talk to our IT?

Also, could you advise, if outlook password is changed, will it affect the sync?

Please help urgently since we have experienced the broken sync a lot and it creates lots of issue to our calendar.

Hi, we use MS Graph API to retrieve and add events to outlook.
Yes it will affect, because in this case MS will revoke all tokens.

hi, thanks so much for quick response.

May I ask a bit more, what kind of access level we are giving SBM for this sync?

I mean to ask about the sync between SBM and our outlook account, what kind of data/ permission we allow SBM to have when we use the sync?

hi, you can configure calendar sync and crosscheck which rights Outlook will request to be 100% sure what is needed

ohhhh how could I do so?

Redmine Admin wrote:

you should be able to do it via web interface where you connect your calendar in Calendar Sync plugin

you mean going to SBM calendar sync page to check this?

But I see that after I click Connect button, I am just directed to login page and after login sucessfully, it just directs me back to SBM calendar sync, there is no setting to change?

hi??

I dont see anything mentioned about which permission SBM will need when syncing my outlook calendar to SBM.

Can you pls advise exactly where I could see it?
