date meet up site or date booking site?
Jennifer and Johnny are both on Luv Action and are looking to meet someone outside of the normal dating chat loops and regular dating sites. Jennifer sees Johnny’s profile and it says 7PM Starbucks. Jennifer sends a message indicating that she is interested and if able to meet at Starbucks at 7PM. Johnny has already committed to this time simply by entering it on his calendar. So he will either accept or decline the meeting. If he declines, a message is delivered to both parties indicating the declined meet up. The time remains available on Johnny’s calendar. If he accepts, a message will be sent to both Jennifer and Johnny confirming the meet up at Starbucks at 7PM. They both go to Starbucks at 7PM.
It is at this point that we have a big question to answer regarding how we are going to handle the confirmation of the meet up. We are open, but simple is the best option. Here are some options:
We have an app that they download which will send back a Google location
Use a plugin like maps will show
Both parties send a message when they get to the meet up location
Confirmation of the meet up through some other means
A majority of people on our site will show up simple because this is the premise of our business
Use a gift card where Johnny gets half of the numbers of the access/redemption code and Jennifer gets the other half.
Whatever means we decide is best, we need to have confirmation that they met, and met on time. When they are done with the date, they leave a review for the other person indicating whether the person showed up promptly, was late, or never showed.
Plugins
Affiliate - must be able to track the codes that sales reps are offering to customers to sign up and each registered user/profile will be able to earn commissions based on their referral code
Review - You will need to be able to review a person’s promptness and attendance to the agreed meeting
Maps - 15 minute time slot and people have to show up to designated location

We are a marketing and branding team attempting to find someone to help us long term with the technical side of things. We are currently working on a project called Luv Action which is a dating meet up site. It is essentially a dating side that takes out the chat feature and adds a booking calendar for each profile. Each profile will have the ability to accept or decline any meet ups that are booked on their calendar from a potential match or user.
The largest issue that we have encountered in our development of our site is that for the booking/calendar component we have not found an exact plugin that will fit the requirements. The meet up part is mandatory and integral.
I have reached out to various developers that have all different ways for a solution, but they have not been totally to our satisfaction. We need to be on the same page on this from A to Z.
We will be using wpdating.com minus the chat feature. There are a lot of features on the site that will help, but there are some that we might need to replace. For example, for reviews they have a review code but if it doesn’t meet the criteria we need then it might need to be replaced. An affiliate feature would need to be added.
