Dear developers
I’m configuring SimplyBook.me for a big customer of mine.
I got stuck with the BulkSMS integration.
The SMS arrive without any connection problem but not in the right format.
2 problems:
- special german characters like öäü are not going through and are replaced by ???
- long SMS not working and my SMS are cut after 150 characters.
I asked BulkSMS about that and this is their answer:
Thank you for your email sent, the above seems to be a limitation of the coding within your application as our API does support message concatenation and Unicode texting.
Could you advise the API of ours you are using with the application above? Unfortunately, we do not have a plugin specific to SimplyBook. Our tech team advises using our JSON API as this is the API we recommend for all new integration work.
The problem is urgent for me because I’m delivering the solution to my customer tomorrow and because I asked support about that already days ago.
Can you please help!
