[#949] Why am I getting "Invalid callback URL"

Migrated from Redmine #949 | Author: Yaron Zohar
Status: New | Priority: Immediate, there is BUG! | Created: 2022-10-26

I am getting “Invalid callback URL” when I enter the URL of my callback API.

The API is publicly accessable.

What are the criteria?

Please help.

Can I send you a private message? I don’t want to expost it. It is a normal public link. I have tried with https and http.

please try to insert https://google.com/ is it accepted?

Yaron Zohar wrote:

Yes google is accepted

Redmine Admin wrote:

then there is something wrong with your link… please contact our live help if you can’t expose it here.

What could be wrong? I can call it in the browser from a different computer. The live help does not want to help with API topics

Redmine Admin wrote:

unfortunately we are not taro specialists  and need to see the link. Please contact live help, they are aware of this request and will help you.

don’t know if it is the case, please note localhost and 127.0.0.1 or any other local network IP links are not accepted because such address cannot be reached from internet

Yaron Zohar wrote:

I wrote to you already, that we are using a public URL. I have sent the link in your chat

This is the answer from your chat:
Unfortunately, we do not provide API support as such. You can find API-related information on our website at API documentation | SimplyBook.me Online Scheduling

Unfortunately urls with http auth do not supported
